After 35 years of Christian education the difficult decision has been made to close the school at the end of this 2012-2013 school year. We are grateful for the many students who attended GLCA, the parents who supported our school and the staff who guided and educated our youth. We thank God for the many blessings that he bestowed on us and pray that those who were educated here continue to grow in their faith and leave a lasting legacy in this world.
Growing Lights Christian Academy. . .
.... exists to educate children and youth using a Biblical Worldview through our curriculum and our activities. It is also our desire to teach the students how to think so they can better affect the world around them.
... offers a Christian education to the Barron area and surrounding communities. Our school has a population that includes students from Rice lake, Prairie Farm, Cameron and other communities. You don't have to be a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church to attend Growing Lights.
... is a ministry of the Foursquare Gospel Church of Barron. The Foursquare Gospel Church is an international denomination that holds to these four tenants: Jesus Christ is the Savior; Jesus Christ is the Healer: Jesus Christ is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit; and Jesus Christ is the Soon and Coming King.
